Below you will find some general questions regarding the Me2You gift card.

What happens if my card gets lost/stolen?

If your card has been lost or stolen, or you believe its security has become compromised, you should advise us as soon as possible by phoning us at 1800 932 777 or emailing us at [email protected] and advising us of the card barcode number and confirming the notice in writing at the address below. If you cannot provide the card barcode number we will not be able to cancel the card or issue a replacement card in accordance with clause 7.2. of the Terms & Conditions.

What stores welcome Me2You gift cards?

How do I check my Me2You gift card balance?

You can check your balance by visiting www.me2you.ie, clicking “Check my Balance” and entering the 9 digit barcode number from the back of your card.


Why do I need to know my Balance?

Please check your balance or take a record of it after each purchase. Retailers are unable to access this information at the point of sale and only transactions less than or equal to your balance will be successful.


Do I have to spend the whole amount in one go?

No, you can make multiple purchases for any amount up to the available card balance. You may also use your card in part payment for a transaction of a higher value than the card balance available by settling the outstanding amount by another payment method acceptable to the merchant. Please note that part payments can only be made in-store and not online.

Can my Me2You gift card be topped up multiple times?

For security reasons, each gift card can be loaded only once.

Can I use my Me2You gift card online?

Yes, you can use your Me2You gift card online with retailers that accept Me2You on their website.

 

To use your card select:

 

  • MasterCard (not gift card)
  • Enter the 16 digit card number on the front of the card
  • Use your own name as the name on the card.
  • Use the Valid Thru date in the Expiry Date field
  • If prompted, enter he CV2 number from underneath the scratch panel on the back of the card.


Do I need a PIN code with my gift card?

No you never need a PIN code with a Me2You card as it is a swipe card.

Do I get charged fees when I have a Me2You gift card?

We encourage customers to use their card in the first 12 months after issue as there is a small fee applied monthly from the 13th month onwards. Details of which are outlined on the reverse of the card and in our Terms & Conditions

Does my card balance expire?

No, your card balance never expires but the physical gift card expires after 24 months. If you still have a balance on the card when this happens simply contact us and we will issue you a new card containing your remaining balance.


Is there a minimum/maximum amount I can buy a Me2You gift card for?

Yes, the min. is €15 and max. €150.  Corporate cards can be issued up to €500.

How many cards can I purchase in a single transaction?

A maximum of 5 cards of €500 each maybe purchased in a single transaction online.

How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

All orders are subject to card payment clearance. We aim to dispatch all orders received within 1-3 days of receipt of funds.

How long after purchase does it take for my card balance to go live?

Cards received by post take up to 3 working days to go live. Cards bought in-store take 24 hours to go live.

What are your opening hours?

Our customer service team are available by phone and email Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am – 5.30pm.
