Stauntons Pharmacy was opened by Jack and Ita Staunton on the 7th March 1952, in Castlebar Co. Mayo. Initially a private, family owned retail Pharmacy, it is now a 3rd generation family business and has been a limited company, Stauntons Pharmacy Ltd (SPL), since 1993.
Currently, there are 6 different business units which are all based in Castlebar – 4 Pharmacies, a Health food shop and a Daybreak convenience store. Stauntons employ over 65 staff with experienced, knowledgeable and highly trained team members in each location.
Stauntons Pharmacy recently celebrated 70 years in business and look forward to continuing to providing a valuable service to Castlebar and the wider Mayo community.
