The Dutch Bike Shop is a family business set up in 2011 and run by Netherlands native Astrid van Gelder- Fitzpatrick and her husband Frank Fitzpatrick. Being a Dutch native who understands the practicalities of the Dutch cycle culture Astrid provides a variety of quality Dutch bicycles and accessories, bringing a wide range of utility bikes from Holland to Ireland.

Dutch bikes are practical, low maintenance, reliable, sturdy, made to carry loads safely, will last the distance and there is no need to dress up in lycra. The Dutch Bike Shop caters for family cycling, commuting, leisure, cargo carrying (including children!) and stocks a range of brands such as Workcycles, Bikkel, Royal Dutch Gazelle as well as electric bikes, Onderwater Tandem bikes, and cargo bikes (Babboe, Winther), At the Dutch bike shop there are quality cycles and accessories to suit all price points.

We are located in a yard just outside Lucan, it is not a walk in shop , but we can meet there by appointment to try out bikes or collect a purchase.
